My name is Sholeh and I run The Field. I'm an accredited coach and have been working one-on-one and with groups to support people to unpack complexity and find agency to make change happen for over eight years. Coaching is a powerful process which helps untangle your thoughts and create space for new (and sometimes surprising) solutions to arise. It's a process of connecting more deeply to your innate creativity and intelligence, and applying it purposefully to bring about personal transformation and take action towards the goals and causes that you are passionate about.
More and more I am encountering people trying to make sense of the times we live in, and searching for ways to process their deep feelings and desire to take action on climate change, political and social disconnect, and other "big picture" challenges. Coaching can provide a container for re-orienting yourself in uncertain times, and I am particularly committed to creating space for people to process issues like climate breakdown and social fragmentation, and the inevitable personal impacts that they bring.

What is coaching?
The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as 'partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.' In other words, coaching helps people to overcome personal obstacles and achieve their goals in life and work.
As a coach I help clients gain clarity on what they want, what could be holding them back, and identify actions to initiate meaningful change.
Coaching is not therapy or mentoring, through I do offer mentoring separately or alongside coaching. The main difference in coaching is that we will work on future possibilities rather than the past, using forward-looking techniques that specifically focus you on exploring your goals and ambitions.
Working with me
I'm an accredited Executive and Life coach with a wealth of experience working with both individuals and groups. Many of my clients are involved with cultural, social and environmental change work. I draw on many different tools and approaches to help clients see their potential, and take steps to realising it.
We'll spend some time exploring what you'd like to get out of coaching, what goals you'd like to work towards, and what approach might work for you. Each individual is different and I adapt the process to suit your needs.
If you choose to continue, we will agree a number of sessions to work together, depending on the scale and ambition of your goals. Sessions last up to 90 minutes and can take place in person (in London), via Skype or phone.
I provide a safe and confidential space to explore what's important to you, and support your thinking with questions and insights. Each session you'll come away with actions - coaching is about achieving the change you want to bring about in your life, so what you do between sessions is as important as the sessions themselves.
Group work: Action Learning
Action Learning is a group coaching methodology that enables teams or peers to unpack challenges and find solutions through curiosity, inquiry and reflection. It is action-oriented and encourages commitment to learning and improvement.
I offer Action Learning facilitation for new and existing sets, and training to set up new groups that can be independently run.
