About
Amayah is a creative strategist, coach and facilitator whose mission it is to awaken the full potential of people and organisations to thrive and co-create a sustainable future.
Working with over 700 organisations and individuals across the creative industries, the social sector, academia and corporate business, she has lead projects and leadership training programmes in the UK, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia on creativity and innovation, organisational development, systems change, climate action and intercultural understanding, supporting people to realise their creative power, collaborate and make bold changes.
She conducts original research, and her most recent paper “Feel Your Feelings” is an exploration of how embodied emotional intelligence is crucial to our ability to thrive and creatively lead in times of crisis.
Amayah set up The Field in 2018 to support a paradigm shift towards leadership culture that is authentic, courageous and thriving. She also provides coaching and executive leadership development to individuals and teams through her private coaching practice, as well as in partnership with 64 million artists' Research Leadership programme. Previously she worked with pioneering organisation Julie's Bicycle developing programmes and campaigns to embed climate justice into the cultural sector and support a new generation of Creative Climate Leaders.
She holds a masters in Creative Media Enterprise from Warwick University, is a certified ILM7 Executive Coach, and a fellow of the UK’s Clore Leadership Programme.
